For a long time now, man has been able to produce plastic materials from the processing and transformation of fossil fuels, resulting in the production of thousands of new plastic products and as many containers. This is transforming and marking our society and our Planet in an irreversible way. Many products, made only to be used for a short time (shopping bags) are instead destined to remain in our ecosystem for hundreds of years. The harmful effect of microplastics is now well known, in fact we all know how the degradation of plastic materials in sunlight leads to the formation of plastic particles smaller than half a centimeter which enter the food chain of fish and reach humans. For this reason we ask you to commit together with us for a better management of plastic based on the reduction of consumption, on the choice of other recycled or reusable materials and on the search for alternative products with lower environmental impact, or by making conscious choices day after day aimed to reduce the dispersion of plastic in nature and at sea.
